His is currently focused on Data, Advanced Technology and AI that allows the business model innovation and transformation for driving profitability, value creation and competitive advantage.

Give us a brief overview of the path that led to your current role.

I am a technologist, entrepreneur, and advisor with over a decade of experience leading digital transformation and data-driven innovation in the Life Sciences and Consumer Goods Industries. Previously a Partner in a Data Consulting company that was successfully acquired and integrated by Accenture, I went through the Accenture Strategy Leadership journey.

Currently, as Global Head of Pharma and Diagnostics Commercial, Data, Analytics, and AI at Roche, I drive strategic initiatives that harness advanced technologies to enhance patient care, innovation and growth in the Roche Diagnostics business.

What is one of your guiding leadership principles?

Lead by example, shape an inspiring vision, and let people grow are my main guiding principles. Focusing on a positive approach, formulating the inspiring vision and demonstrating to teams that they can achieve great results for the company they work for, as Data and Analytics is becoming the key function at any industry or company.

What is the greatest challenge you are facing today, and how are you addressing it?

One of the challenges in my role today is transforming our data and analytics function from a traditional data management function to a strategic driver of business outcomes. This shift is complex, requiring a fundamental change in mindset, upskilling across the organisation, and a realignment of priorities to focus on creating a data products and services portfolio. Additionally, this change requires a significant investment in training, people, and aligning our analytics efforts closely with key business objectives within the organisation.

How do you measure success as a leader?

I measure success as a leader by the growth and success of my team, making sure they're motivated and engaged. It's about creating a culture where people feel trusted and supported to do their best work. I also pay attention to feedback from my team and peers to keep improving and adapting. At the end of the day, if my team is thriving, I know I'm on the right track.

What is the value of being a member of the Evanta community?

I value the opportunity to connect to peers across industries.
