Give us a brief overview of the path that led to your current role.
My career started as a Developer (Mainframe Cobol) and then I transitioned to a Project Manager with Johnson Controls. From there I was IT Director in the Roundy's / Pick 'n Save cooperative. I now reside as the Vice President and CIO at Batteries Plus.

With disruption being a key theme of recent years, where do you see the CIO role going in the next 1-2 years?
CISOs will need to focus on incorporating AI while managing company growth.
What advice would you give to someone just starting out as a CIO?
Listen, ask questions, always learn, and then be decisive.

One fun fact is that I have an immediate family member inducted into the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame.
