Davis Arora is the Senior Director managing identity and access management at Honeywell. As a proven leader in Cyber Security with over 20 years of experience, he continues to lead teams and push the envelope in the realm of identity and access management.
His favorite saying is “Identity is Core”, demonstrating to his peers across the company and industry that behind every solid security strategy Identity and Access Management is where it begins. Today, he manages a diverse team that consists of Single Sign-On/ Federation, Certificate Services, Identity Governance and Administration, Privilege Access, and Directory Services that support a workforce of over 150k and a million customers. His boundless energy and dynamic leadership is contagious.
On a personal note, Davis married his high school sweetheart and has three bright and beautiful girls. His family keeps him busy with dance parties and cartwheels! If you haven’t had a chance to meet him, take the time to connect as he values his relationships, shared learnings, and innovations.

Give us a brief overview of the path that led to your current role.
My passion for learning and the ability to take complex technology solutions and make them intuitive for people to use.
What are your guiding leadership principles?
Have a risk driven approach to security, embrace and assume breach mentality, drive continual improvements, foster a culture of innovation with a services mindset, and an open door policy.
With disruption being a key theme of the past year, where do you see your role as a CISO going in the next 1-2 years?
There will be a continued focus on risk and compliance, but with focus on productivity which will drive modern, secure user experiences.
What advice would you give to someone just starting out in the role as a CISO?
Building a strong industry peer group is critical, and defining strategic suppliers is key.
