Give us a brief overview of the path that led to your current role.

I studied Business Informatics at Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nuremberg. After my studies, I started my professional career at AREVA GmbH where I developed the Business Process Management (BPM) Framework and the process-oriented Internal Control System (ICS) and implemented those as a BPM/ICS Management System.

Since 2013, I have been a Business Process Owner responsible for the BPM/ICS Management System and its sustainable establishment in the company. In 2016, I was appointed as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) of AREVA GmbH and was hence additionally responsible for the implementation and continuous improvement of the Information Security Management System (ISMS). Since the end of 2017, I have worked as Manager Information Security and Global Project Manager ISMS at Schaeffler AG, where I developed and introduced the global ISMS.

Since 2020, I have been the Group Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), Vice President Security, Business Continuity and Crisis Management of GEA Group AG.
