Give us a brief overview of the path that led to your current role.

Protecting the information and critical infrastructure requires expertise from the information technology domain and knowledge of how operational technologies work to control our vital infrastructure. The proliferation of commercial technologies in critical infrastructure control systems has created a target-rich environment for malicious actors. It is a vulnerability that continues to threaten our safety and security.

I have been at the forefront of helping critical infrastructure sectors such as manufacturing and energy develop cybersecurity strategies and leading programs to assess and improve their cybersecurity posture. There is no one-size solution that fits every environment and industry. The efficient approach is understanding the risks and applying the most cost-effective strategies to protect critical systems.

I have supported large and small projects geared towards the digital transformation of industries, helping to shape the future in an environment of rapid technological and business change. Specifically, I have provided national and international cybersecurity guidance to federal agencies on technical and policy issues that led to the implementing cybersecurity regulatory programs and risk assessments in critical nuclear power generation operations. I have also traveled globally to design and engineer industrial control systems projects. I offer broad subject matter knowledge in various technology areas while focusing on clients' strategic and tactical goals.
